My Account Help

On the My Account page, you can view and change your login settings (such as your email address and password), and view and change information about your current subscription(s).

Update Password and / or Email Address

To change your password, select a new password and enter it in the New Password field. Reenter the same password in the Confirm Password field. The two passwords you enter must match and be at least five characters long.

Click the OK button to complete changing your password

To change your email address, enter a new email address in the New Email Address field and click OK. Your email address will be updated.

  • Note: Any active subscriptions you have will be cancelled if you change your email address. You'll still be able to access the microfilm until the cancelled subscription(s) expire, but after that you'll have to resubscribe to continue viewing the microfilm.

Subscriptions

The Subscriptions panel displays a list of all of the Civil War Microfilm products to which you're currently subscribed, along with the PayPal Subscription ID, Date Subscribed, Expiration Date, and Status of each.

Active subscriptions automatically renew when they expire (meaning that your PayPal account is charged again) unless you cancel them. To cancel a subscription (in order to prevent it from automatically renewing), click the Cancel Subscription button next to the subscription you wish to cancel. All of Civil War Microfilm's transactions are handled by PayPal; you'll be routed to their site to complete the cancellation. You'll also receive emails from both Civil War Microfilm and PayPal confirming your cancellation.

  • Note: you'll still be able to log in and use your current subscription until its Expiration Date; cancelling a subscription simply prevents it from automatically renewing.
